David joined Grace Covenant’s staff in Fall 2005, to help retain a “flat” organizational chart in the midst of staff expansion. The newly formed three-member executive team of Matt Cassidy, Ray Anderson and David Fletcher is designed to keep pastors tightly connected, and to provide more direct access for directors, lay leaders and volunteers. David directly oversees the following ministry areas: Children, Youth, College, Adult Education, Worship, Communications and Organization. He came to Grace following a 23-year tenure at Northwest Bible Church, a church family of 5000 people in Dallas, where he served with singles, youth, missions and, most recently, as Executive Pastor. David’s undergraduate degree is in Religious Studies from Occidental College in Los Angeles; he earned his Master of Theology in systematic theology at Dallas Theological Seminary, and returned to DTS for his doctorate. David and his wife, Tami, have two young adult children. |
