The purpose of Learning Communities is to provide interactive Bible-based classes for the purpose of maturing Christ-like souls, equipping for ministry, and providing initial care and community.

An Adult Learning Community is a great way to join with others who desire to grow in their relationship with God. At Grace Covenant Church, we offer a variety of Adult Learning Communities during the 9:30 and 11:00 worship hours.

Some of our communities are geared toward people in a specific life-stage: single, young couples, young families, families and older adults. Other classes are geared toward specific topics or styles of Bible study.

All the communities are intended to encourage you to understand and apply God's truths in your daily life. Our desire is to prepare the Body for effective ministry in the workplace, at school, and in your neighborhood.

Biblical Instruction.
An adult learning community provides an ideal setting for communicating God’s Word using a variety of disciplines. These include:

  • Biblical Studies
  • Theology
  • Ministry Skills & Disciplines
  • Life-stage Issues

Developing Community.
A learning community is a great place to begin establishing relationships with other believers. All of our classes strive to create an atmosphere that encourages those relationships.

Creative Learning.
Monologue is the least effective teaching method. It has been said that we only remember 10% of things we only hear. We learn best when we interact over material in an experiential way. That’s why our learning communities strive to provide interactive dialogue about God's Word.
