Check-in & Pick-up Procedure
Nursery and Preschool
- Parents must bring children to their classrooms, where children will be given name badges and parents will be given claim tags.
- If you are needed during the service, your child’s security number will appear on the digital displays located on both sides of the stage in the Worship Center. If parents are in an Adult Community, a cell phone should be put on vibrate and the cell phone number written on the visitor form; if you are needed, the superintendent will call your cell phone.
- Parents must present their claim tag with the matching number in order to pick up their child. Your child will not be released to a sibling or to anyone without a matching security number. Siblings under age 16 will not be allowed to pick up children.
Elementary
- Children in Kindergarten through 4th Grade must be brought to Room E-1 of the Education Building. Children in grades 5 and 6 should proceed to the portable building for classes. All K-4th graders will check in at Room E-1 of the Education Building.
- Each child is given a nametag that must be returned upon that day’s dismissal. Parents will have Family Badges that they must keep and present in order to pick-up (or “check out”) their child.
- All other outside doors to the Education Building remain locked before and during class time. Children may not leave class unaccompanied by an adult for any reason.
- For pick-up, parents/guardians must come to room E-1 and present a Family Badge (or sticker nametag if visiting). Children will be called from the classrooms to meet their parents/guardians. Siblings may pick up children, but must present Family Badge. No child in grades K-4th will be released unless a parent/guardian has come to pick them up. 5th and 6th grade children may meet their parents without an escort.
