LiveWire is a place where your 5th and 6th graders put their faith into action. We challenge them to think about the world through Christ-centered eyes and live their Christian lives as examples to their peers. The intention of LiveWire is to equip your children to be ministers in their area of influence.

Lesson Focus

At 9:00, your child will participate in “Leaders-in-Training,” our Bible class and service ministry for 5th and 6th grade boys and girls.  This class meets in Portable 21-B, behind the Cornerstone Building.  All students will be taught leadership skills from a Biblical perspective, in addition to Bible study skills and lessons on developing their Biblical worldview.  Students will also have the opportunity to serve in various ministries in the church during this hour, including nursery/preschool helper and other places where they can put their new leadership skills into practice.

During the 10:30 hour, we split the 5th and 6th Grade classes by gender.  The boys meet in Portable 21-B for “Knights of Grace” and the girls meet in Portable 21-A for “Orange Dots.”  These are both comprehensive programs with Christ-centered character building.  Your child is taught how to apply Biblical lessons in their everyday life and build strong, lasting friendships with their Christian peers.
