Dinner Clubs

Dinner ClubsDo you wish you knew more people at Grace?

Is it difficult to connect with others in the brief time we’re together for worship on Sunday mornings? Are you ready to commit to three mealtimes with others, to gain some new friends? Then you’re a candidate for Dinner Clubs, Grace’s new way to serve up food, fun and fellowship.

How does it work?

Three times in the next four months, eight adults will gather for dinner and fellowship: you and one other person (your spouse, or another single person) plus three other couples. Each time, you’ll meet three new couples. By the end of the semester, you’ll be better acquainted with 18 people!

One month, you will serve as the host, coordinating the dinner with others in your group. As host, you might provide the main course and ask the others to bring side dishes. Or, you may prefer to arrange for a night out. Maybe it’s easiest to gather for lunch after church – or for breakfast before. Gathering for dessert would be fine too. You will serve as host only once during the three-month cycle. The idea is to keep things simple and fun. (Click here for Hosting Resources)

NOTE: Because the goal of Dinner Clubs is to enjoy fellowship with other adults and get better acquainted, please do not include children in Dinner Club plans.
